WP-CRM: Screenshot, Local Search App (Video)

This is a screen shot of WP-CRM, a customer relationship manager and prospecting tool for small business.  I developed this as a WordPress plug-in to support the sales staff and management of China Off-Road.  It also was integrated into several departments and became an indispensable resource for managing sales, marketing and product fulfillment.

WP-CRM has several features that make it unique to any other CRM app.  For instance, sales reps can send emails through WP-CRM and be notified when a prospect either:

  1. Reads the email;
  2. Downloads the attached PDF;  Every PDF document is personalized via mail merge routines.

The sales rep is then notified via email and has an option to schedule a follow up task.  Here’s a quick video:

    Not officially publicly available, but I'd be willing to open source it. I haven't cleaned up the code base enough to put a stamp on it. So… it's a rough cut, but does the job and ran well for our company.

    It was built using WP 2.6, but it should hook right into 3.x.

    I thought about releasing a web version as a SaaS model, but… time is not abundant right now. If you are interested in releasing this, I'm open to collaboration of some type.
